IMEL Advisory sp. z o.o., based in Warsaw (hereinafter „IMEL”), hereby informs and explains the principles under which your personal data is processed, what personal data we collect, use, and disclose, and the purposes and legal basis for processing. We consider the protection of your personal data to be one of the most important aspects of our business. Personal data collected by IMEL are processed in accordance with the principles set out in data protection regulations, including Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (hereinafter „GDPR”) and the Personal Data Protection Act of 10 May 2018. Type of Data Processed IMEL processes the personal data of Clients/Business Partners who contact IMEL via the contact form, email, telephone, or otherwise express their activity on IMEL’s social media profiles. The type of data IMEL processes depends on the type of contact. The data processed by IMEL includes name and surname, email address, telephone number, address, photo, user IP address, location, browser type and version, website settings, and financial information such as bank account numbers.

However, depending on the circumstances, refusing to provide data or requesting its deletion may prevent us, for example, from contacting you, providing you with information about IMEL events and activities, or providing services. The processing of personal data as part of the provision of services is regulated in agreements concluded with clients. Sending commercial information electronically, e.g., by email, is contingent upon obtaining your prior consent.

Processing Period Personal data will be processed, as appropriate, for the duration of the User’s use of the IMEL website or until the legitimate interests pursued by IMEL as the Data Controller related to the processing of specific data have been fulfilled, until the expiry of the limitation periods related to the contract related to the processing of personal data or related to the expiry of the limitation periods for obligations arising from legal provisions, or until the withdrawal of consent to processing for marketing purposes. Due to its cooperation with suppliers and law firms, IMEL may entrust the processing of your personal data to the entities indicated above. However, in each case, these entities will be obligated to maintain the confidentiality of your personal data and to process it in accordance with personal data protection regulations and relevant IMEL instructions. IMEL will entrust the processing of personal data to external entities only to the extent necessary for the proper performance of the tasks performed by these entities for IMEL. If the processor intends to use subcontractors to perform tasks for IMEL and this will require the subcontracting (transferring) of personal data entrusted to them by IMEL, the processor must submit a list of entities to which it intends to subcontract the data. The processor is obligated to update the list of subcontractors to whom it intends to subcontract personal data throughout the duration of the contract with IMEL.
